Valentine's Day Gift Ideas For Her
I find that Valentine's Day is always an interesting holiday. There are those that love it & hate it. It can be a test for new and seasoned relationships, and if you or your significant messes up you're going to tease them about it for years: "Remember that year you got me a vacuum?!". That's why I always head to Nordstrom! They create a great him & her gift section for any budget from glassware to Gucci. Here are a couple of my favorites!

Red Carpet Season 2014: Sag & Golden Globes
Every year award season rolls around & I cannot wait to see the hits & misses that are bound to happen. And so far 2014 is not disappointing! To be perfectly honest, there were;t too many dresses I hated, but there were stand out ladies on both carpets! Here are my absolute favorites!
On both carpets Sophia Vergara (Modern Family) and Lupita Nyong'o (12 Years a Slave) were absolutely Stunning! I also really love Margot Robbie (The Wolf of Wallstreet) at the Golden Globes and was disappointed she wasn't at the SAG awards. As a newcomer she is spot on with her glam & I cannot wait to see her at the Oscars!
Next up are the Grammys & I can only imagine who'll be tweaking, or won't wear pants or even show up in an egg! Check back for that rundown!

Post Holiday Recap
The holidays are such a hectic & magical time, that absolutely FLY bye! I can barely process the fact that it is almost a MONTH after Christmas, and still I'm trying to take advantage of the wonderful January sales!
The BEST sale that I took advantage of was all thanks to fellow blogger Viva Luxury and her post about some Saint Laurent boots I had been dying over! They still have a couple pairs left & they are 60% off!
And speaking of shoes! My parents surprised me this Christmas with the Chanel espadrilles that I had been searching for. I looked for my size & color everywhere, and the Chanel Boston boutique told me they'd have them back in this spring. I am waiting for the summer so I can wear theses babies, until then I will just stare at them lovingly.

Beauty Review
This post could basically be explained by my obsession with the Kardashians. Yes, I admit, they are a guilty pleasure indulgence for me, but c'mon, their hair, clothes, make-up are a fashionista fantasy! And whether you love 'em or hate 'em they have an amazing team that gets paid a ton to make them look THAT good.
Now typically I am a MAC girl, but I ran out of my liquid eyeliner and was in the mood to try something different. I used the Nars stylus eyeliner this weekend and found it really easy to use and it went on with was and did NOT smudge at all!
I also used the beauty blender for the first time this weekend with MAC liquid foundation and found that, just like the ladies over at The Sorority Secrets said, it was amazing! Super duper light and it felt much more gentle than a typical brush. I am HOOKED!
The light reflecting setting powder adds a gentle airbrushed look to the skin without it being caky or too heavy, which I also love!
